Water Skiing

Scuba Diving

Julie and I got PADI certified at Columbia Scuba. Since then, we've gone diving in Hawaii with Manta Rays and in Nassau, Bahamas with Sharks.

Snow Skiing

After learning to snow ski as a child, I've been to a number of resorts in North America. My favorite areas are in the Cottonwood Canyons in Utah.

Open Wheel Racing

I am an avid fan of formula racing, such as F1 and Champ Car (formerly CART). I love speed, and since I'm always looking to find a way to go faster, I attended the Jim Russell Racing School in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. Current drivers Jacques Villeneuve and Jimmy Vasser have gone there, as well as Danny Sullivan, Emerson Fittapaldi, and the late Greg Moore.

White Water Rafting

Here are two pictures from a Whitewater Raft Trip in September 1997, on the Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania. Our guides were Mountain Streams. Since then, I've gone on a few self guided trips on Youghigheny.

Fly a Fighter Jet

I've always dreamed of flying in a fighter plane, but realized I'd never be able to handle the strict orders at a military institution like the Air Force or Naval Academies.

Thanks to Fighter Pilots USA, I'm going to try my luck at air-to-air combat flying in a Marchetti SF-260.

Of course, when I venture back to the Niagara Falls area of Ontario, Canada, I'll give the pilots at Air Combat Canada a run for their money in an Extra 300L made by Aero Sport, Inc.

Skydiving

I made my first AFF jump at Skydive Michigan and have since gone again at Parachutes Over San Diego and at Advanced Aerosports in Chambersburg, PA. More skydiving info can be found on the United States Parachute Association (USPA) site.
