Pachacamac

Pachacamac is a pre-Inca site originating from between 200 BC and 300-400 AD and later with the Huari people.

It had an area called the Pilgrims Plaza, where Pacha Kamaq (the maker of the earth) was worshiped as well as many graveyards, temples, and palaces from various cultures that used the site.

Pachacamac was in use 400 years prior to the Inca civilization. The Inca incorporated Pachacamac into their own culture and expanded the area by building the Temple of the Sun.
